It’s rather difficult to find a good fancast for Bobbi Morse. It all depends on the art I guess.

If I had to pick an actress for David López’s Bobbi, I would pick Anna Torv. She looks a lot like her during The Reunion (New Avengers), Hawkeye & Mockingbird: Ghosts and Widowmaker.

Aside from her, I’d say either Claire Danes or Katheryn Winnick.

fuckyeahavengingarcher:

Hawkeye: Uh, Mock? Come here.

Mockingbird: Sure, Hawkeye.

Hawkeye: Listen, there’s three cameras on us and they’re probably rigged to pick up sound. If we have any plans to make, we’d better whisper and keep our backs to the cameras.

Mockingbird: Sure. You have a plan?

Hawkeye: Not really. You?

Mockingbird: Nope, except to try and resist the ultrasound brainwashing. SHIELD did train me in certain techniques.

Hawkeye: I’ll do my best to resist, too. I really don’t want to hurt you. In the last couple days, I’ve actually kind of started, well, liking you.

Mockingbird: Then shut up and kiss me, we may never have the chance again.

So as much as this is a Hawkeye story, it is also very much a Hawkeye and Mockingbird story. Early on Gruenwald establishes that Clint doesn’t approach Bobbi the way he did women he’d liked in the past. The most obvious distinction is that Clint didn’t like her. He blamed her for his problems and only begrudgingly accepted her presence and help. But it’s been a few days since then. They’ve worked together as a team, saved each other’s lives, and ended up in jeopardy together. Now it seems like their time is up, and Clint has to admit that, well, he doesn’t totally hate her.

However, while they share an almost-kiss here, I would not pinpoint this as the moment they fell in love. Bobbi’s been interested for a few days, offering charming flirtations that Clint ignored. Clint has just come to value her. But there’s a specific moment, after this, that I think really lights the spark of their relationship. This moment would have been the tragic what-could-have-been, had one of them died at Crossfire’s hand.

From Hawkeye Volume 1 #04 (Mark Gruenwald)

nottheprayingtype replied to your post: Hey Barton.

What did you get yourself into this time…?

Next time a Norse god tells you that he needs your help… just don’t.

I’ll keep that in mind.

nottheprayingtype:

I guess that’s the best way to go about doing things.

Loki.

You and Barton both seem to be in it knee deep.

Barton dropped off SHIELD’s radar, sir.

theagentofnothing:

nottheprayingtype:

I’ve had better days. You?

Going day by day.

What’s been buggin’ you?

I guess that’s the best way to go about doing things.

Loki.

theagentofnothing:

nottheprayingtype:

Fury, it’s good to see you.

Certainly an unpopular opinion. How ya doin’, Bobbi?

I’ve had better days. You?

theagentofnothing:

nottheprayingtype started following you

Agent Morse.

Fury, it’s good to see you.
